The Blanton Museum of Art hosted its biennial black-tie gala and after party and celebrated the important role of the Blanton plays in Central Texas and at The University of Texas at Austin. The evening also honored UT President Bill Powers. The event commemorated Powers' distinguished legacy of leadership and commitment to the visual arts. The gala was followed by the after-party, Art on the Edge.
